Gamers gathered from around the world online and in-person recently for the NVIDIA GAME24 live stream celebration of PC gaming. Along with the 24 hour live stream, open gaming events were held in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Stockholm, London, Chicago, Mission Veijo and Indianapolis.

Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore was invited to support the event on the local level at Chicago’s Ignite Gaming Lounge, which was an official satellite event for GAME24. Support for Wargaming and World of Tanks was undeniable, with fans swarming the Wargaming display for a chance to play World of Tanks Xbox 360 Edition at one of the six dedicated game stations and take away some great swag!

The Ignite Gaming Lounge was packed with nearly 400 gamers coming out for the action-packed evening of free food, free gaming, raffles, and prizes. One community member who attended raved about his experience on Ignite’s Facebook page:

“That Game 24 Event at Ignite was by far the most organized gaming event I’ve attended this year. The staff was on point, the prizes and giveaways were amazing. The representatives from Nvidia, Steelseries, and Wargaming were awesome at showcasing new products and details for future releases as well as contributing to multiple prizes in the raffle. I for one had a complete blast and hope everyone else had the same experience who came. Thanks again for such a fun night.”

The team at Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore truly enjoyed the opportunity to engage with local fans at this event and would like to thank WGA and the eSports team for helping to make it possible and Sam Oanta at Ignite Gaming Lounge for inviting Wargaming to his wonderful establishment and being a part of this amazing event.
